  • The Collective Meaning

Ritual is how we mark time, make meaning, and transform. Across cultures, it connects us to something beyond ourselves: to nature, to memory, to the sacred.

  • What Ritual means in my life

My mother taught me that ritual is how we slow down in a world that never stops. It's the space before a decision. The breath before action. The reminder that you're more powerful than you think.

  • Emotional Truth

Ritual isn't about perfection. It's about presence. It's choosing yourself, again and again, in the small, quiet moments.

Meet The Founder

I grew up surrounded by ritual. My mother, Shakhmah Windrum, was a spiritual teacher and ritual practitioner who spent her life exploring, teaching, and practicing across cultures and traditions: Haitian Voudoun, the Solomonic tradition (an African-based form of the Kabbalah), and the teachings of indigenous wisdom keepers, Sufis, and mystics from around the world. She founded a contacted mystery school in Philadelphia, one working in alignment with inner plane guidance, and believed, above everything, in the many paths to the divine. Her teachings were esoteric by nature, but her conviction was simple: this wisdom belongs to everyone.

When I turned 18, she gave me my first spiritual bath. A botanical blend and ritual splash used to ground energy, support intention, and spiritually cleanse spaces and surfaces. It became a quiet anchor in my life.

Years later, after she passed, I kept returning to one thing: the times I felt most ungrounded were when I had stopped using the bath. The practice itself is simple. After a shower, I splash the intention water over my body and take thirty seconds to set my intention for the day. That's it. But those thirty seconds held more than I realised until they were gone.

So I learned to make the spiritual bath myself, taught by one of her longtime students. That's when the question came: why isn't this accessible to everyone?

Sordoe is built on Shakhmah Windrum's teachings. Her work and wisdom are the foundation of this product, carried forward with intention and with attribution. I partnered with a bio-alchemist to create an all-natural version using sustainably sourced botanicals. What she gave me at 18, I want to make available to anyone ready to receive it. Her knowledge doesn't stop here.

A modern tool for an ancient practice.
